Hadnock Farm

A cold but dry day, midday we set off on a cycle ride from home to Monmouth (South Wales UK) and back, a distance of about ninteteen miles. It was the first opportunity to check out my cycle after some warranty work on it.

Mrs BB had an order to collect, and afterwards we enjoyed a coffee in Costa before setting off home. The blipfoto is taken from the cycle network, and this point was formerly Hadnock Halt railway station. The old farm with orchard and horse make an idyllic countryside scene.

Not long after getting home about 4pm, our friends popped in for a few hours to catch up on things.
