Road to the mountains

We had fine weather for our journey to Vemdalen and here is a rather random picture, taken from the car during the first half of the journey, when Jan was driving.
My phone tells me the picture is taken near Östby on the E14 if you want the details.
The sun rises a fair bit higher now, compared with midwinter and there is a lot more colour in the landscape.
We had hoped to do the whole journey in daylight and we nearly managed it, arriving just before it really got dark.
On a day like this Sweden is very beautiful.
