Bullfinch eating the flower buds.

Not a great photo as the bullfinch wouldn't pose for me, but I was delighted to see a pair of them in the garden as I did the Big Garden Birdwatch today.It was very quiet in the garden in respect of birds, mainly the usual suspects of blackbirds, house sparrows, wood pigeons and the occasional blue, coal and great tit. Would have liked a greater variety but I was very pleased with the bullfinch.
