These pain au chocolat looked incredible, although I didn’t buy one as we’d just had brunch here — a lovely eggs royale for me.

After an early start and a bit of Cars, I set off around the m25 to see Tom for a few hours. Lovely to catch up and hear about his Southern Hemisphere Christmas and his new job.

On the road again by 1.30 and back home for a lot of lounging on the sofa including a nap in front of the second half of cars.

Early night now, let’s see what next week brings. The end of last week really was horrendous (gaps will be filled eventually) so we’ll have to see how things go…
