Grey Wagtail

We had a lazy start to the day, managing to make it out to the restaurant in Extras by lunchtime. Of course, what is a very reasonably priced meal during the week becomes very much more expensive on a Sunday at a Toby Carvery. 

We thought they weren't going to give us a table, they had 200 booked for lunch! This bay had a 6-seater and a 2-seater table but when we collected our meal they asked if we would move onto a different table. As it turned out, we finished our meal and left before the party of 8 arrived, we could have had the nice view out! Well, I could have had, my seat faced the window.

After lunch, we had coffee at the water of Leith Visitor Centre and then had a walk along the river. The Man cleverly spotted the movement of these well-camouflaged birds.
