Bird count

BirdLife Finland arranges a bird count every year for all of us on one weekend in January. All there is to do is to sign up with your name and email, then sit and wait for an hour and watch and count the birds on your backyard, and then of course fill the form and send it in.
I have done it before, but for some reason I fumbled now with the form, and then of course during the hour at noon it was so dark that I could barely get a picture. I withdrew from the game, and just as well. My result was three great tits. That would have looked very bad if my result had been the only one from this little town, so it was better that I didn't report anything. :-)
We had bright sunshine on Sunday afternoon.
