A productive day. After picking up the food shop and some housework, I got out into the front garden to dig out the three cordylines that had died. I’m not sure if it was the drought or the freezing temperatures (probably both) but they didn’t have any live leaves yet and we’re looked a complete mess. They’d got quite big so I couldn’t dig them out completely, but I’ve cut off the thick stem below ground level and hope they won’t reshoot.

A late lunch and then I caught up on last week’s Happy Valley (so good!) and later watched Cabaret which I’ve never actually seen. Very good!

I also squeezed in some Xbox this morning - I’ve found an easy game that I’m really enjoying - who knew!
