A man and his dogs……

Maisie and I walked a little later then usual this morning. Thus I met a number of “new” dogs and their owners. A partly cloudy, very muggy day. I met this very nice dog owner on last section of our walk. He had his two elderly Cavalier King Charles spaniels sitting their cushions on his mobility scooter.Darling little dogs. Son James and I visited close friends today. It was great for him to spend time with them.He and I went out for a meal at “Dodsons”…. A restaurant and craft beer distillery this evening.
We are still hearing bad news of issues in the Auckland region, battling with flooding and ….. waiting anxiously for more predicted heavy rain to come. A catastrophe for all involved.
