Grid Journal

This is a spread of two pages in a new art journal. I signed up for a free online grid journal course a while ago and just kept letting other things take precedent. Well, yesterday I finally made a date with myself to sit down and watch the first video!! Geeze. I was so happy I did, that I wrote a blog post about it. And yes, the drawing of our 2 cats with my husband Steve's signature are his! A couple of years ago he made wrapping paper from one of his cartoon drawings for my birthday! I saved it of course and in gathering collage bits from my stash, I ripped off a small section of for this grid. That is the way I like to create art!!
