These days it is not a good idea to walk along the edge of the platform.
There has been a spate of violent acts in the subway of late, including people being pushed onto the tracks. No fatalities from that activity yet, but there have been other attacks that did not turn out as well.
And this station's renovation has been half finished for several years.
