St Leonard's church

I searched out this 12C church at Hartley Mauditt on my journey home from lunch with some friends today. It stands completely alone, the hamlet is long gone.
It was probably built 1100-1125 but was restored and had the bell tower added in 1853-4 apparently.  
There was no one around and it was a bit eerie there, so I took my photos and drove home.  Kitkat was pleased to see me!
