By the front door
1. A random circular, abandoned when it came in the post, and still not made it to the recycling.
2. Car keys
3. Remote control for the front gate
4. Hand sanitizer and mask - reminder that Covid is still with us
5. My beanie
6. A few receipts that could also go in the recycling
7. Wooden sign and lamp belong to the landlords - not sure if the lamp works - most of the bulbs in the apartment were blown when we moved in
8. Cash - reimbursement from landlord for a doorbell
9. And last, but not least, letter to the DVLA. With address on a scrap of notepaper.
We have registered the car in Ireland, but a few days ago got a letter from the DVLA telling me I don't appear to have insurance. Well I do, but not in the UK. Realised we'd never let the DVLA know that we'd exported the car. So a letter to them. But we don't have any envelopes - they're all in storage. So I'll take it down to An Post tomorrow, buy an envelope and a stamp.
That, and some tidying in the sewing room, are all I seem to have achieved today.
