a day at the races..

Just a couple of hours actually, after the road we wanted was closed and satnav had taken us down a dead end. Finally we parked at the side of the road and flagged down the next car that went by: van with man and enormous Alsatian dog.

'Follow me' he said. We did.

Nice afternoon at the races. No winners for me (including this lovely horse) and just one for M, but it was the last race of our day, so a nice ending and the road had re-opened so an incident-free journey home.
