More classic sites in the North East

After yesterday's bleak view of Hadrian's Wall, today's classic was the Angel of the North, looking absolutely wonderful in today's sunshine.   Andy and his mates from Cumbria Canoeists kayaked along the River Tyne from Blaydon, whilst I walked along the stunning coast at South Shields and then met them at the South Pier.
