High in the trees

It's another photo of birds in trees, but unlike yesterday's sinisterly mind-controlled pigeons watching in unison, these are the noisy jackdaws, gathering in the tops of the tall trees around the churchyard before returning to their nests in the avenue. It was fortuitous that one of today's handful of photos fitted the Mono Monday "high or low" theme, as I've only just looked it up.

Another day, another hospital appointment for J. It's been a busy month, with lots of things for which we have waited for a long time finally happening. I'm weary of them, but grateful that we still - just about - have an NHS providing them, albeit often after very long delays.
