The Terminal

Just woken up after meeting my daughter at Stansted airport late last night. Her flight from Lanzarote landed around 11pm but as the friend she went away with is sight impaired they had special assistance, which meant they were one of the last off the plane. We returned home via Wood Green in North London where her friend lives and then had to take a different route because the section of the  M25 we were due to go on was closed, presumably for roadworks
 The upshot was that we didn't get home until just gone 2am. The photo is deceptive. The check-in desks were empty but just next to them there was a constant flow of people coming through the arrivals hall and the airport was in fact pretty busy.
