Me and My Shadow

A walk on the Chase today, with a stop off at the local cafe, where the local wildlife were again scavenging for morsels left by the customers.  I was lucky to get this robin (not the same one as Saturday) perching on this handle right next to me as the sun threw its shadow on to the ground.

I'm now sitting waiting for a telephone consultation from the hospital with the oncologist (a regular check up).  It's already 50 minutes beyond the scheduled time, but from experience they are very busy and someone will call when they can.
