Heron silhouette

Saw one of the herons on our walk tonight. Cue two blurry grey shots before I twigged I could take a shot against the river-light. My friend Heron kindly obliged by lifting their head at just the right moment.

Blowing a bit of a hooley out there at the minute, but we made it round without getting too wet. Counting my blessings this evening & the good fortune of having a home.
