From Grey Friar
Looks nothing unless viewed large on black.
The forecast wasn't too bad today, so we drove down to the Wrynose Pass, and Climbed Grey Friar. We really seemed to have picked the wrong place - in the cloud most of the morning, whilst pockets of sunshine lit up everything around; the Langdales looked particularly sunny. However, coming off Grey Friar just before lunch the sun lit up one of the middle distance fells, and I took this, thinking of it as a high contrast mono. I'm actually quite pleased with the graphic result.
After lunch (taken in the car as it was so windy) we went the other side of the Wrynose Pass and climbed Cold Pike, which really lived up to it's name!
