Star of the Week

M’boy was proud to tell me that he had won “Star of the Week” in his class last week!

I was, naturally, proud to hear this, but didn’t realise that part of the process entailed the poster pictured here being decorated with post-its from his classmates giving him some plaudits - what a nice touch! I’m not particularly happy with the school at present, but have to give it to them here that this is very definitely, a good thing.

Tuesday nights with the wee ones are usually quite nice as it seems to be about the one night a week where both of them don’t have a club or activity to go to! They got showered up and then we hung out in the back room playing golf, bowling and chambara on Switch Sports. The Youngest seemed to be worrying adept with a fake sword in her hands and took great delight in vanquishing her older brother.

Nice evening, but after another busy day, I am feeling shattered tonight!
