WIDE WEDNESDAY

It's Wide Wednesday and the Challenge is Fence or Wall.  It's been snowy around here lately and right after a snow, the temperatures drop precipitously and are ushered in by strong winds.  This morning the outside temperature is 5°F. (-15°C.) and the wind is howling bringing in a -19°F. wind chill (-28°C.).

This isn't a typical  "wall" that you might envision but, around here, one can be driving along at a fast speed and suddenly encounter a "wall" of blowing snow.  Many auto accidents occur when your visibility goes to zero in 2 seconds.

Wisconsin drivers learn early on to anticipate such snow walls and we slow down to a prudent speed.  I don't worry about me....other less prudent drivers are, however, a cause for concern. If they want to die that's their business...but I don't want to go along with them.
