House on Honey Hill

This rather grand house stands just along the road from the office, It was a museum for some time, although I think it's closed now, but originally it was a home for Lady Elizabeth Hervey, wife of the 1st Earl of Bristol way back in the 1700's.

It's near neighbour now is the local magistrate court and other county council offices, but back in the day it probably had a clear view of the cathedral and abbey ruins.

I'm not sure where today has gone, seemed to disappear in a flash which is good - nothing worse than the day dragging on, but I don't seem to have demolished much of the mountain of work that needs doing. I'm sure it breeds while I'm not looking!
