La Gouille is Freezing …

… and the resident pair of swans couldn’t easily get to the shore for the salad we brought them. The ice is very thin and they can’t walk on it. We found a small channel broken by previous swimmers and the swans were happy to come to the edge while we walked out to swim for 4 minutes.
