Corby PIP Princess
This is The Corby PIP princess created by Jason
Wilsher-Mills . He is a disabled artist based in the East Midlands. He worked with disabled communities from around the UK to design the work: exploring themes of disability, this exhibition tells the stories of these geographically diverse, learning-disabled groups, mixing them with Jason’s own biography to create new narratives and myths about the artist.
His exhibition is on at The Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries. I was at my weekly art class at the centre. The results were not worth sharing but it was interesting and I’m learning more each time I go along.
I had a busy afternoon, boxing up crockery / sauce pans from Mums flat and taking to Shax. This will be given to homeless people when they get a place to live . So well worth the effort . Mum would definitely approve.
I had a swim and sauna and I’m teaching this evening.
