Roughing out the next two planks

This board will yield the next two planks, one for either side of the boat. The light coloured piece is the pattern to create a rough shape which will be fine tuned when offered up to its final position. Where the ends need excessive bending or twisting, they will be placed in the steam-box for an hour or so.
