Signs

After a relatively early breakfast we checked out of the hotel, had another wander around Holmfirth, and enjoyed a coffee at a very nice café. Then MrM drove us about a mile out of the centre to view the property we'd spotted on Rightmove. It has lots of plus points including a garden and car parking, and it's not too far out of the town... but it's very small compared with our present abode, which has oodles of storage space. It's a bungalow, and though it was built in the '60s (we think) it's been extended, and modernised throughout. Surprisingly, though he's always said that he doesn't want to live in a bungalow or a new-build, MrM liked it!

After much deliberation, and a picnic lunch in the van with views across the moors, we put in an offer. Now we have to wait to see if it's accepted.

Called in to see some friends in Cleckheaton before MrM drove us to Woodlesford where we enjoyed a pub meal with Tom (my son) - haven't seen him for a few months, and it was a shame that we couldn't stay a bit longer. Hopefully it won't be so long until next time!

Finally to Richmond where we're staying tonight. Just time for a nightcap before bed.
