Reward

A difficult day for anyone leading schools today but we survived our own difficult day. Forward planning for the worse case scenario meant that we were prepared for the number of staff who were not in today. Years 9, 10 and 12 at home working remotely and the gaps taught by SLT and the plan did work. My day included six Y11 classes in total, one Year 7 and the reprieve of teaching my own Y13s. Thoroughly exhausted by the end of it, no one lingered and I came home via the supermarket. My planned reward was my tea but this lovely hellebore came home with me too.
