I’ve traveled the trip on the bus to Dachau many times of recent months and never noticed it until last week. Today I had to break my journey to check and record.

The grassy site is just outside the south of Dachau city and placed within a triad of roads. On Google maps it is annotated as "Small sledge Mountain". The recliner sits staring south into wintered trees, carefully placed atop a man made mound approximately 10 metres in height.
