Brass Monkey Weather

Overnight temperatures dropped significantly to -17°F, although less cold during the day, by the time I shot this it was much as yesterday, around 5°F.

I found an ice covered stream with ice crystals on top. I spent quite a while photographing different configurations and patterns. I liked this version because of the wavy pattern towards the upper left. The shady areas were very blue. It made me think of the night sky, but none I've ever seen.
