Ulysses trophy

Up at 6.30am in Orange this morning for isbi’s cataract op which seems to have gone very well but I’m already having trouble stopping her doing things she shouldn’t.
Within an hour, I’d run into old school friend Richard who owns our AirBnB and university friend Lee whose wife was also having a medical procedure.
I’ve known Lee for over 50 years and he’s an intriguing character. Until retirement, he was one of Australia’s most knowledgeable veterinary epidemiologists, he’s a devout Christian and a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast. I first saw Lee in 1970 perched on a Honda 750 Four and he’s now a Ulysses member, still riding big bikes. He holds the annual club trophy (in the blip) for unceremoniously dropping his bike at 5kph in the car park.
