North canal bank

They are doing major work on the canal in Port Dundas turning it into some form of water sports centre. This is a good idea I reckon and will enhance the area.

Yesterday they built a couple of temporary dams and emptied a part of the basin. This is what the drained part looks like - you can see the water level behind the dam at the far end.
