Phormium abstractum

Steadily the colour gathered, mysteriously, from nowhere, it took presence upon itself... (The Rainbow - DH Lawrence).

I took a macro photo of a piece of phormium leaf on the patio today (see extra)  and it revealed a bit about itself, for Abstract Thursday, with thanks to Ingeborg as always for your generous hosting.
