VR, GR, ER

These fabulous wall boxes are in and around Hungerford. The VR on the left is a listed box, dating from 1877 and is the oldest wall box in Hungerford ( I noticed it the other day when photographing the antiques shop- it's next door). It is a "number 2, small, improved".

The GR in the middle either dates from 1910-36 or 1936-1952.

The ER on the right dates from 1952- present. ( but it's definitely been there a long while!)
