Amaryllis crisis

The amaryllis plants have grown very tall this year. I stake them for support, but one or two have had splits in the main stem.

Today, I noticed that this one was keeling over. By the time I rushed to give assistance the stem had broken in three. I rescued the flower.

I had a great idea for a multiple image blip, but it did not work out. It was enough faff setting this up in the kitchen with overhead and extra lighting.

The nine layer focus stack could not be processed by Photoshop. It said there was not enough overlap between the images. ???

This is a 3 image stack so it is not perfect, but I like the shape of the flower and the delicious rose pink.

I've had a quiet day at home.
