Tools of the trade

I had watched quite a few gelli print plate videos lately and got inspired to have a play date today. It was great fun!

The gelli plate is something you can use to make mono prints. You see it on my counter here with a couple of leaf prints I printed. I also brought in a stencil, stamps and bubble pop for texture. You put a small amount of paint down on the plate with a brayer and then lay your items down. Take a piece of paper, press it down & you have a print! I like to do this multiple times and make many layers.
