Dam Busters
I discovered 2 things today.
1). The top of the Derwent reservoir and the super road and landscpe that surrounds it and
2). How rubbish my digital processing software is.
A trip I was party too was held and consisted of great company, a picnic courtesy of Cynthia consisting of, sandwiches, biscuits, coffee and crisps which was held next to the upper Derwent reservoir where they'd filmed and initiated the Dam Busters and today was marked today by a fly past by a Lancaster bomber, spitfire and tornadoes to mark the 70th anniversary of what was a momentous occasion (the bombing not the film) that some say changed the course of world war 2.
Barnes Wallace we salute you.
