Pryamids of Giza

Oh wow wow wow, what a fantastic day out in Egypt.

To start the day, I was up at 3.30am and set off at 4.25 for the airport. I arrived into Cario at the back of 7. A great shock Cario is, very dirty at a first glance and the buildings are in a terrible state.
9am arrived at the Cario museum and loved every moment on the tour around. Tutankhamun exhibition is truly breath taking and to view his gokd mask an utter pleasure but not so sure when they pointed out his blood from the mummy table!?!
Next up was a cruise along the river Nile which was great and lunch by the river. After lunch headed to a paper workshop and a perfume shop, interesting.
2.30pm was the first right sighting of the great pryamids and wow. The tour all around thwm and went inside the great pryamid itself, breath taking again! And the sphynix too.
Heading back to the airport was utter chaos, gridlock traffic from every angle and never experienced such like before. For all Cario's flaws, you have to look through the bad and see the it for real, 9.2 million crammed onto such a small space!
