Rooflines

Today went back to being grey again for most of the day but in the middle of the afternoon there was a brief spell of winter sunshine so I headed out for a quick walk before the sun disappeared back behind the gathering clouds.
Today I decided to go for two different images of these row of cottages in our local village of Aylesford. The main image is a more traditional view with the sunlight really highlighting the zig zag shapes of the rooflines - I even managed to include a fly past from some passing gulls. The extra is of some winter berries further along the riverbank with the blurred lines of those same rooflines in the background.
