Art Day
These 2 ladies are consummate artists and I am honored to be included in our little group. The one in the green sweatshirt is a watercolorist and does beautiful pencil drawings. The one in the blue and red jacket has been a clay sculpture artist for over 50 years and is acclaimed all over the country. Today, I got to introduce them to mediums they have never experienced: stamping, heat embossing, and inks! They were like little girls, so excited! They brought their aprons and dug right in! :—)) as you can see in one of the extras, we were not alone in the art room :—) and they were fine with that. Around here, you won’t be comfortable if you don’t like animals. Thankfully, they love animals. I fixed brunch for them. The other extra shows the fruit. We also had biscuits, bacon, quiche, and baked pears.
I’ve always been pretty independent and never thought I really needed anyone beyond my family. I’m finding out how wrong I was. These ladies feed my soul. ( This is a back blip)
