Sporangia
I spotted a couple of Muntjac deer on this morning's long walk from Pishill with the spaniel. They were moving too fast for me to photograph so here's something that wasn't moving at all (although it can, in its plasmodial stage). I think these are the sporangia (where the spores are held) of the slime mould Trichia decipiens, also known as Salmon eggs slime mould.
