Blue hour

No photos yesterday (Wednesday).  A different day at school as all but one teacher (mine) were on strike.  No reception classes were in but both year one and two were in for half a day. Either the morning or afternoon.  The teaching assistants covered but we were not allowed to teach.  It all worked well and we got lots of other bits done too.

Thursday 
My throat has been quite sore, more so at night, and I have a cough. So I’m not sleeping great and still catching up after my bad night with O the other day.  I was just leaving for work when I saw a text from my teacher saying she wouldn’t be in as her daughter was unwell.  Oh no!  I knew what that would mean…. I was teaching all day!  The children were very good and I managed to send them all home in one piece.  However, my voice was almost non existent by he end of the day.  I also had an after school club to contend with too.

After school I went to Kingston for my hair appointment and finally got home around 7.30 feeling just a tad tired.
