From Bank To Bank, Aylesford

It was a glorious spring like day today and luckily my second day of the week off due to the train strikes. For the first time in over nine months our village pub reopened after an extensive refurbishment due to a serious fire. It looked really lovely inside and the owner greeted me and my brother when we came in the door. He had a big smile on his face and must be so glad to be up and running again. It was quite busy and everyone seemed to be having a jolly time including the odd dog or two!
Today's image was shot from one bank of the river to the other. I loved these common reeds and how the light picked the up against the dark background.
