One in the bush

Lots of bird activity in the garden this morning.  I reckon that it must be something to do with the fact that the big garden birdwatch was last week, rather than this week.  They were all in other people's gardens last weekend :-)

So, not a particularly unusual bird from me today, not even one exhibiting some behaviour.  What's more part of the bird is obscured by a thin out of focus branch between me and it.  Yet, I rather liked this intimate little portrait of a Great Tit and at the end of the day I'm taking these photos for my enjoyment, so I get to choose.  How selfish is that!
