Another enjoyable day in London, this time visiting the David Bowie exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Exhibition is a poor description of this event; with the inclusion of sound commentaries, musical excerpts and videos - including 3 massive screens in the final room showing excerpts from different concerts, this was more of a performance. An imaginatively designed, visually and aurally complex high-tech experience. Whether or not you are a David Bowie fan, this exhibition does reveal and explore Bowie's amazing imagination and creativity and his involvement in all aspects of designing and manufacturing his varying image through the years. Certainly an influential character, and a high profile exhibition to match.
Our day finished off with a very pleasant meal in one of the restaurants within the old Covent Garden market.
On one of our tube journeys, we couldn't help but notice the young lady in this picture. Her pink hair, jumper with mottled pink and purple design, pink watch strap, pink coat and pink iPad cover were all rather striking.
