Dressing up
This morning they played with dolls for 3 hours then we took Amelia to Gymnastics (Lucy goes on a Wednesday) when we got back they got straight into a dressing up came. I think they look quite stylish - a bit 1920’s!
While Amelia was at the sports centre we popped to Pets at Home for food for Bella and a new bed. They had neither of those in stock so a wasted journey.
Ravenscraig Sports Centre is a very modern building with strange architecture and when you walk down a slope to the entrance it has a weird effect on your balance. Amelia had warned us about it and just as well as I felt like I was on a ship on rough seas. Very strange! The construction is a mix of vertical, horizontal and diagonal components.
I’ll try to add a link. https://www.glasgowarchitecture.co.uk/ravenscraig-sports-facility
It’s a cold wet day again, I can’t wait for Spring and to get gardening.
Frank’s son Sam phoned this morning to tell us that our Granddaughter Isla age 11 (she of the gorgeous red curly hair) has passed the entrance exam to High School with 100%. She is a very brainy girl. I’d like to say she takes after Grandma but we’re not blood related Haha! Anyway, I’m rubbish at maths! We’re so proud of her!
We’ll watch the second half of Annie with the girls tonight.
Hope you’re all having a good weekend.
