A walk around Polesden Lacey
This morning we decided to walk around Polesden lacey, a National Trust property near us. In addition to the country house and gardens, there is an extensive property all around it which is very popular for walking - some of the land is rented to a local farmer so you have to be careful for livestock but today the fields where we walked were all clear of any animals. We did walk past a fenced off field full of sheep, but Xena did not even give them a second glance - she is very good around livestock. It was a long walk, over 2 hours long and seemed to be all long uphills with no downhills, even though I know that is not possible!
On our way home we picked up a coffee at our local café - I prefer the coffee there to the coffee at Polesden Lacey - before going home.
This afternoon I was busy with some admin and now I must go get ready as we are going out to the theatre tonight with Tommy and Inca to see Lemons Lemons Lemons which comes highly recommended - it's about trying to have a relationship when the law only allows you to speak 140 words per day.
