Skukuza

We got invited to spend ten days at a lodge in a private game reserve next to The Kruger National Park, South Africa. It was difficult to turn down the offer!

We flew from Heathrow, London to Jo'berg, South Africa overnight and then had a transfer from Jo'berg to Skukuza Airport in the Kruger. The blipfoto  shows the small jet aircraft just as we were about to board for the 40 minute flight. Mrs BB hates flying and when she saw this small plane I was worried she wasn't going to get on it! Shortly after take off she was calmed by a glass of wine.

Our friends met us at the airstrip where we collected a car to use for a week and then they'll run us about in their jeep.
