35/365 The Archers

Well I will be the first to admit it’s not the best photo that you will see today but possibly the most interesting, at least to some.

We needed to go to John Lewis in Solihull and afterwards to Cotswold Outdoors located at Webbs of Wychbold between Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa.

Mission accomplished we headed for home and en route did a very slight detour to the village of Inkberrow. The reason? Well we hadn’t been for a while to The Old Bull pub which is claimed to be the pub on which The Bull at Ambridge in the Archers radio programme is based, as is the surrounding area.

The walls have loads of Archers memorabilia on them and I picked this one as today’s blip. We sat in front of the log fire sharing a bag of Scampi Fries and having a drink. Wonderful!

I’m possibly alone on this but confess to listening every week to the omnibus edition of the Archers, usually on the BBC Sounds app. There, now you know one of my little secret vices :-)
