We arrived safely

Woke much earlier than usual as we had a long drive ahead of us.

Once the car was packed and I’d said goodbye to the boys I drove to pick up HtP.

The last time we attempted a long drive to Scotland the motorway was closed and we had a huge detour.

Today we had an easy drive.

We stopped at Tebay services, an independent service station. We had an excellent lunch and the image is of two people flying a drone just outside the window.

We are now unpacked and we are making dinner. It’s been a good day.
