Buds

Spotted as number of buds on the tree peony today. Frosts and ice forecast for next week so i hope the buds survive.
Extra photo shows many little primroses have popped up around the snowdrops - at least they will keep the weeds down.
There was an appeal on a local facebook group yesterday for items to help a Jamaican  lady who has come here to work in the NHS (midwife)  - things for her flat such as crockery, bedding etc. We were glad to help with a full dinner service and a set of cutlery (probably would have been destined for the charity shop) but it was lovely to see just how many things were offered for this lady, including furniture, hairdryer, bedding and a TV. The lady collecting the items said the flat is looking lovely now.
